This evening, we’re going to do a round of maintenance from 10:00PM CDT to 10:30PM CDT. The maintenance will upgrade some of our internal systems for speed as well as stability, but during this time, customers may experience disruptions.

New Customer Sign-ups
WP Engine’s API

The maintenance window is expected to last no more than 30 minutes. We’ll notify you when the maintenance window has closes, and all services are back online.

[Resolved] Some Sites May Be Experiencing Issues

A small number of WP Engine clients are currently experiencing intermittent connectivity issues. This only affects a small number of customers in our Dallas data center. The WP Engine System Administration team is aware of the issue and is responding.

[RESOLVED] Dallas Data Center Connectivity Issue

Update: Everything looks to be at this point. Our System Administrators will work with the data center staff to find a root cause and provide it to the affected customers upon request.

Signup and account creation ability has been restored

I’ve just received word from our engineering team confirming the fix.

However, if you have any issues with a new account you tried to create in the last 30-60 minutes, please let us know by creating a support ticket and including the email you signed up with, as well as the account name inside of Zendesk, help.wpengine.com. If there were any bumps in the road, we’ll get them smoothed out so you can get on with your day ASAP.

Issue with Signups will be resolved shortly

We’re aware of an issue some customers are currently having signing up new accounts. Our engineers are working on a resolution, and will restore your ability to sign up for WP Engine shortly.

If you have any specific issues creating an account, please let us know in a support ticket. We’ll post an update here as soon as we restore the ability to create accounts.

Scheduled Maintenance Window Tonight

Hey Folks,

This evening, we’re going to have a scheduled maintenance window from 10PM CST to 11:30PM CST. During the window, we’re going reboot servers to update the network connection speed for all WP Engine sites. The update will increase the outbound network cap by 5x, which will have a rather positive effect on site performance for all customers.

Rebooting the servers will take no more than a few minutes, but we do expect minimal downtime during this period. We estimate downtime at about 5 minutes or less per host to reboot. If you notice any downtime longer than this, please file a ticket at help.wpengine.com.

Once the reboot is over, we’re looking forward to enjoying even better performance for all our customers.
